We get regular positive feedback from all our customers where we have aided in the prevention of a crime, or indeed in the apprehension of criminals. Here are a couple of recent stories:

Mahunga Drive & Mangere Bridge Village Business Associations

Issue:  The community had been the target of a Grafiti gang for some time.  They had caused damage to numerous buildings in the area.

Incident:  Our patrol officer was conducting the contracted nightly checks for the Mahunga Drive Business Association when he observed five youths tagging a commercial property. He quickly requested backup from the On Road Night Supervisor and another Global patrol operating close by, plus Police attendance before approaching the offenders. With the assistance of the additional Global staff & prompt attendance by the Police, all five youths were apprehended & taken away for processing.

Resolution:  5 youths arrested.  From data base records it was identified that the taggers were serial offenders who had been defacing property in the area for a number of months & in particular targeting businesses in the Mangere Bridge Village shopping centre.

Wiri Business Association

Issue:  A service station in Wiri had been the victim of two armed hold ups in 6 months.  The staff and customers were understandably nervous.  

Resolution:  Our Security Patrols spend 6 hours in the area nightly, with two separate patrols conducting checks on various businesses in the community.  Our initiative presented to the Wiri Business Association and the service station was that since the Security Officers have to stop somewhere to write their reports they do this in the forecourt of the service station, so as to increase the visual presence of security and give peace of mind to staff and customers.

North Harbour Business Association

We have had a long and successful relationship with this association. So successful in fact that we have been able to reduce our presence in the Area.  Not great for our billing, but a great reason for the reduction in their spend and we love that.  As sponsors of the North Harbour Business Association we love the opportunities we get to listen to the members and engage with them in providing suitable security solutions.  Here’s the video our Sales & Marketing Manager recorded for their www.
